Wrappin' More Gold (Play'n GO): a mummy that grows across the grid as three pots collect gems, under a 6,000x ceiling

Published 28 October 2026. Play'n GO releases Wrappin' More Gold on 22 October 2026, a follow-up to Wrappin' Gold from April 2026 that keeps the same joke at its centre: Pharaoh Khufu, furious that his celestial treasure was stolen, tears the realms open and scatters red, green and purple gems across the sky, a fortress and the Duat. Queen Cleo and Ptolemy stand against him, guarding what he is still hunting. The base game is a plain 5-reel, 20-payline slot. Everything interesting happens above the reels, where three coloured pots and two chests collect symbols as they land, and a mummy grows across the grid while it gathers them. RTP up to 96.2%, medium volatility, 6,000x max win.

Three pots above the reels, and two chests beside them

The pots are the whole game. Red, green and purple scatter gems land in the base game and drop into the pot of the matching colour. Two open chests sit alongside them and gather Bonus Spins symbols and wilds, so even a spin that pays nothing on the paylines can still move a collection forward. Collect & Win opens in two ways: a Collect & Win scatter gem lands on its own, or a mummy symbol lands on reel 1 together with at least one scatter gem. Up to three pots can run at once, which is where the game gets busy, because each pot plays by its own rules.

Wilds substitute for every symbol except scatter gems, Bonus Spins symbols and mummy symbols, and they can appear on any reel. That matters more here than in a normal payline slot, because a wild that lands also feeds a chest, and a wild can trigger the Instant Bonus at random in the base game or during Bonus Spins. Nothing in the base game asks for patience: the collections tick along in the background of ordinary spins.

Inside the pots, the mummy does the collecting

Every Collect & Win round starts with five spins and a mummy covering a 2x2 area. Coins and gems that land inside that area are collected, gems fill a growth meter, and as the meter fills the mummy expands and can add spins back to the round. Watching the collection area grow is the point of the feature: a bigger mummy reaches more of the grid, so later spins in the same round collect more than early ones.

The three pots split the idea three ways. Pot 1 uses an 8x5 reel set where only coins and scatter gems can land, and the mummy climbs six growth levels from 2x2 to the full 8x5, adding spins as it goes. Pot 2 uses a 5x5 set, can award Extra Spins gems, and can apply 2x and 3x multipliers across the mummy's collection area. Pot 3 also uses a 5x5 set, but its twist is Double Coins and Double Gems. In pots 2 and 3 the mummy tops out at 5x5. All three pots also support Mini and Minor Instant Bonus awards, so a collection round can pay out through the pick feature as well as through collected values.

Bonus Spins, and a pick round hiding behind wilds

Three or more Bonus Spins symbols award six Bonus Spins, and the feature can also trigger at random when Bonus Spins symbols land. Three or more symbols during the feature retrigger it for three more spins, up to a cap of 33. Collect & Win and the Instant Bonus both trigger more often while Bonus Spins run, which ties the features together instead of leaving them as separate rooms: the free spins round is where the collections are most likely to fire.

The Instant Bonus is a pick round. Fifteen mystery symbols are revealed one at a time, and the first prize to show three matching symbols is the one awarded, across four levels: Mini, Minor, Major and Grand. It can fire from a wild in the base game or in Bonus Spins, so it arrives without warning and settles fast. GO Ultra changes the starting position: Collect & Win begins with three extra gems already on the meter, and the chance of triggering Collect & Win during Bonus Spins rises. Where it is offered depends on the market and the operator; check the in-game panel at a licensed casino.

What to check before playing

RTP settings vary by operator, from 84.2% up to 96.2%, so the headline figure is the top of the range, not a promise at every casino. Availability also varies by market, and the 6,000x ceiling is a maximum, not an expectation: it sits well below the 30,000x ceiling of another October release, which fits the medium volatility rating. The appeal here is not a single huge hit but a feature that visibly builds, spin by spin, as the mummy takes over more of the grid. Players who like watching a bonus grow will find the hook. Players who want one symbol to change everything will find the base game ordinary.
