Complaints & Dispute Resolution
Disputes happen. What matters is how they get resolved. Below are the common dispute types players run into, and the practical steps that help in each situation.
Delayed withdrawals
A withdrawal sits in "pending" past the casino's stated timeframe. Common causes include automated fraud filters, incomplete KYC, or uncleared bonus wagering. If this happens, stop playing, contact support in writing, ask for a ticket number, and complete KYC before your next deposit. Written complaints force a human review; live-chat promises do not.
Bonus winnings confiscated over vague "irregular play" claims
Some casinos void winnings citing "irregular play" without saying which rule was broken. A vague claim is not proof. Ask for the specific term and the bet logs. If the casino will not provide them, escalate to the regulator or the licensed ADR provider listed in the casino's terms. Keep screenshots of the bonus terms as they were when you claimed the offer.
KYC verification rejected repeatedly
Document photos get rejected for glare, cropped corners, or expired IDs, often with no useful explanation. Use a phone camera in daylight, keep all four corners of the document visible, no flash. If a rejection gives no reason, ask support for the exact problem in writing. Complete KYC before you deposit, not after you win.
Winnings voided for breaking the max-bet rule
Almost every deposit bonus caps the bet size while wagering is active. One spin above that cap can void the bonus and all winnings, and regulators routinely uphold the casino in these cases because the rule is written in the terms. Read the max-bet rule before claiming any bonus and never raise your bet to "finish wagering faster".
Duplicate accounts during self-exclusion
Opening a new account while self-excluded puts you in a gray zone: some regulators order deposit refunds, but winnings are rarely returned and the exclusion gets reinstated. Self-exclusion only works if you respect it. Use the tools on our self-exclusion page instead of testing the system.
- Start with the casino. Use live chat first, then email. Always get a ticket or reference number.
- Put it in writing. Summarize the issue, the amount, dates, and what you want. Attach screenshots of terms and transactions.
- Escalate to the regulator or ADR. MGA and UKGC licensees must offer an approved ADR. Curaçao GCB accepts complaints through its portal. Include your ticket number and all evidence.
- Do not threaten or abuse support staff. Rude complaints get deprioritized. Stick to facts and dates.
