Overview
Gates of Olympus is Pragmatic Play's flagship Greek-mythology slot, set on Mount Olympus under the watch of Zeus. It runs on a 6x5 grid with a Pay Anywhere engine: wins form when 8 or more matching symbols land anywhere on the screen, with no fixed paylines.
After every win the tumble mechanic kicks in — winning symbols disappear, the remaining ones drop down, and new symbols fall from above, chaining multiple wins from a single spin. Zeus can strike at random with multiplier orbs worth 2x to 500x; when several land in the same tumble sequence, their values add together rather than multiply.
The main event is the free spins round: 4 or more Zeus scatters award 15 free spins, and during the feature any multiplier that lands is added to a running total that applies to the end of each tumble sequence. That accumulating multiplier is where the slot's biggest hits come from. An Ante Bet option raises the stake by 25% for better scatter odds, and a bonus buy is available at casinos that allow it.
Volatility is genuinely high — long dry spells are normal, and most of the return is concentrated in the free spins round. Always confirm the RTP in the game's info panel, as operators can run lower variants of the default 96.50% setting.
