Wagering Requirements in Plain Language

A wagering requirement (also called playthrough or rollover) is the number of times you must bet the bonus amount before you can withdraw any winnings from it.

Example: you get a 100,000 COP bonus with 30x wagering. You must place 3,000,000 COP in total bets (30 x 100,000) before the bonus winnings become withdrawable cash. This does not mean losing 3,000,000 COP - wins and losses both count toward the total, but you need that volume of betting.

The Five Terms That Actually Matter

• Wagering multiplier. Lower is better. 20x-35x is typical for Colombian licensed casinos. Anything above 50x is hard to clear.
• Game weighting. Slots usually count 100% toward wagering. Table games like blackjack and roulette often count 10% or less, or are excluded entirely.
• Maximum bet while wagering. Most bonuses cap your bet size (for example 10,000 COP per spin) while wagering is active. Exceeding it can void your winnings - this is the most common reason bonuses are confiscated.
• Time limit. Usually 7-30 days to complete wagering. Miss the deadline and the bonus plus winnings disappear.
• Maximum convertible winnings. Some bonuses cap how much you can actually withdraw from bonus winnings, no matter how much you win.

How the 2026 Deposit Tax Affects Bonuses

Since March 2026, licensed operators collect a 16% consumption tax on deposits at the moment of deposit. This matters for bonuses in two ways:

• If a bonus is "100% up to 200,000 COP", check whether it is calculated on your gross deposit or on the post-tax playable balance. A 200,000 COP deposit leaves roughly 168,000 COP playable after tax - and the bonus math may follow the smaller number.
• Your effective cost per bonus peso is higher than before the tax. A bonus that was marginal at 0% tax can become bad value at 16%.
